Natsuki route: MC talks about the festival cupcakes as if he's never seen them #32

To celebrate our good work Sayori and I both take one of Natsuki's cupcakes.

They are always called Natsuki's cupcakes. For being basically the first date, the result of the cupcake baking seem very copy-pasted.

I take a moment to inspect Natsuki's latest design.
Instead of the traditional swirl or kittens on top, she's shaped the icing into closed books,

We know. MC came up with that idea in this route!

"I'm impressed with how the icing's done."
"Something this intricate must've taken a lot of time, effort, or both."

He knows how much time and effort it took. During the baking, he even said:

"Your icing, eh?"
"Are you forgetting who did all the work?"
