Someone other than me would need to help create documents for this becasue I don't have batteries. The integration reports the data the inverter gives directly from modbus: it doesn't alter or combine data. To do that you will need to create template sensors. There are some example on the wiki, and there is a discussion on the Home Assistant forums: |

Describe the feature
I recently installed a battery system and noticed that the energy dashboard is no longer accurately reflecting total solar production. Previously, I used the sensor sensor.solaredge_i1_ac_energy, but it appears to miss the energy produced while the battery is charging (see screenshot).
I’ve identified another sensor, sensor.solaredge_i1_b1_energy_import, which seems to report the missing portion. It might make sense to combine both values to create a more comprehensive sensor for use in the energy dashboard.
Please advise whether this is the best approach, or if there’s a more appropriate way to extract the total solar production now that a battery is installed.

Additional context
It would be great to have official support or documentation for tracking complete solar production in setups where a battery system is present, to ensure energy dashboards remain accurate.
