git version 2.16.2.windows.1

Please upgrade.

** the git give me 'this is a bug, please response at' **

This is the most clipped report that we received about this bug. By far. Compare to the other dozens of reports: https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue+%22failed+to+restrict%22+is%3Aclosed+

But yes, please upgrade, the issue should be resolved then. As a bonus, you even close a gaping security bug in your setup that way!
