Create Sheet/Document from existing Template

Hello,
I have a range of templates existing on my google drive. I would like to automate the creation of a folder hierarchy with a copy of the existing templates places in specific folders within that hierarchy.

Example:

1. Farm Folder
   • Cat Folder
     • Copy of Document template for cat
     • Copy of Sheet template for cat
   • Dog Folder
     • Copy of Sheet template for dog
     • Copy of Document template for dog

Is it also possible with PyDrive2 to also edit google sheets/documents?
