Keep Track of all local maximum

Consider keeping a record of all local maximum and their corresponding likelihoods. This may be useful if one wanted to explore the likelihood surface more carefully, or possibly to see if there are local maxima that may have better properties than the best global fit and have numerically similar likelihood values.
