Checking for update on startup despite disabling "Download updates automatically" #5766

  • Windows build number: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)
  • PowerToys version: v0.20.0
  • PowerToy module: General

📝 Reproduction steps

  1. Set option "Download updates automatically" to off
  2. Startup Powertoys (at boot)
  3. The software still searches (and if found prompts to install) for updates

✔️ Expected result

The software does NOT searche (and if found prompts to install) for updates

❌ Actual result

The software still searches (and if found prompts to install) for updates
