Odd empty tabs show up after restarting

Normally when I restart ADS, it recovers my tabs, very handy! However, lately I've been seing a bunch (6 or more) tabs that are essentially blank. You can see from the screen shot I have 2 normal SQLQuery tabs and then 4 of the odd ones.

They have this text

Select a language, or fill with template, or open a different editor to get started.
Start typing to dismiss or don't show this again

If I click the "select a language" and pick SQL, I get this error:
