Term change

  • Submitter: John Wieczorek
  • Efficacy Justification (why is this change necessary?): Erratum
  • Demand Justification (if the change is semantic in nature, name at least two organizations that independently need this term): Truth demands it
  • Stability Justification (what concerns are there that this might affect existing implementations?): None
  • Implications for dwciri: namespace (does this change affect a dwciri term version)?: None

Since this is an erratum, I am creating a single issues to fix the problem repeated throughout all affected terms:
dcterms:modified
dwc:eventDate
dwc:eventTime
dwc:georeferencedDate
dwc:dateIdentified
dwc:measurementDeterminedDate
dwc:relationshipEstablishedDate

Proposed attributes of the new term version (Please put actual changes to be implemented in bold and strikethrough):

  • Examples (not normative): 14:07-0600 (2:07pm in the time zone six hours earlier than UTC); 08:40:21Z (8:40:21am UTC); 13:00:00Z/15:30:00Z (the interval between 1pm UTC and 3:30pm UTC)

should be

14:07-06:00 (2:07pm in the time zone six hours earlier than UTC); 08:40:21Z (8:40:21am UTC); 13:00:00Z/15:30:00Z (the interval between 1pm UTC and 3:30pm UTC)
