File search tool | openai-responses

Hello Team,

We have noticed that the new management interface in OpenAI Responses does not yet include all tools, specifically the File Search tool.

We have a system that needs updating, and we would like to transition to using streamText with OpenAI's File Search tools through Responses.

Example implementation:

const openai = new OpenAI();

const response = await openai.responses.create({
    model: "gpt-4o-mini",
    input: "What is deep research by OpenAI?",
    tools: [{

We noticed that there is no mention of this on your documentation page: https://sdk.vercel.ai/docs/guides/openai-responses.

Do you have any release dates available? This update is quite significant as it changes how we must interact with OpenAI vectors.

For us, it would represent a substantial improvement in quality and prototyping capabilities for our SaaS.

this api is a game changer for using openAI with mwspace.ai
