Hi, I'm Hunor 👋

I hold a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, but my passion for problem-solving led me to the world of Software Development. I enjoy writing code in C#, Java, and Python with a particular interest in Backend Development. I'm always eager to learn new things, explore the latest trends and I aspire to become a Full-Stack Developer. Currently, I am learning React.

🚀 Projects

  • Enmeshed: An open source project developed j&s-soft AG that focuses on combining various assets into an overarching digitalization approach for users and organizations. Its overall goal is to introduce a secure but easy-to-use way to share and request data and digital signatures between contacts.

  • Timelines: An internal j&s-soft AG project designed to simplify and streamline the work of lawyers. Built as a modular monolith with clean architecture, I contributed to designing the ER diagram and structuring the PostgreSQL database in a Dockerized environment. I develop Minimal API endpoints with Carter, implement FluentValidation, Mapster, and MediatR, and use EF Core for data access. I also integrated RabbitMQ and Domain Events for asynchronous messaging, wrote integration tests with Gherkin, and managed Jira tickets and GitHub issues.

  • School Management System: This project is the end result of a nine-month Full-Stack Web Development Training Program, organized by the Vojvodina ICT Cluster in collaboration with the Government of AP Vojvodina's Secretariat for Economy and Tourism.

  • Sodhara: An actively developed retro sci-fi action platformer inspired by the SNES classic Super Metroid. I play a key role in QA, leading feature improvements, addressing minor bugs, and refining level design to ensure the game is polished and provides an engaging experience.

🚴‍♂️💪 Beyond Coding

When I'm not coding, you can find me in isCold ? "Gym" : "Street Workout park" pursuing my fitness goals. Moreover, I love to learn new languages. At the moment that is German and Norwegian - btw, what's your streak on Duolingo? :) I actively volunteer with the Novi Sad Cycling Initiative and in my free time I enjoy speedcubing.
