Chrome Browser Extension Installation Error

When I installed the Chrome Browser Extension I received an error:

Errors
Unrecognized manifest key 'applications'.

Highlited Error Code:

"applications": {
	"gecko": {
		"id": "sqrl@pass.dog"
	}
},

Chrome Version 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I set the browser to developer mode before installing. Did I miss something?

Was it just a warning or was it a hard error that stopped chrome from using the extension?

Hi Jaaap/sqrl, I don’t know if it was a hard error as I do not have any actual SQRL sites to try. The error showed on the extension information page after install.

Do you have the blue SQRL button in the top right corner of Chrome?
Is the error still there when you visit chrome://extensions/ ?
Any chance you can make a screenshot of it?

Unfortunately i cannot see the screenshot(s).
If you want, you can use this site to try SQRL:

Click "Proceed to the SQRL demonstration".

It requires you to create a SQRL identity in the webxtension.
