Description of changes:

  • Fixing recent ECR publish workflow failures. With its GA release on 3/15, AL2023 is now the default distribution for the amazonlinux:latest parent image used in our Dockerfile; this breaks the build process as NodeSource does not yet support AL2023. Moving back to the latest amazonlinux image tag on AL2.

Hi @jklap , thank you for the heads up!

I took a look into upgrading the Dockerfile to use the AL2023 image, but was still encountering the same build error - it appears that NodeSource decided to only support AL2023 only for Node 18.x and later:

As we are currently tied down to Node 14.x, we will continue to use AL2 for now.
