All necessary files are located in the PolitiTracker folder. Within the compiler, type cd project/PolitiTracker followed by flask run.
Next, follow the link provided by the compiler to get to the PolitiTracker homepage. From there, follow the instructions on the website to get started!
You can navigate the website using the Navbar at the top of the page.
With PolitiTracker, I set out to create a website that would increase accessibility to information about one's congressional representative. Given an address, PolitiTracker retrieves and displays:
- The representative's biographical information
- Their most recent tweets
- Their most recent votes
- A synopsis of their most recent cycle's campaign financing
- Several methods to contact them
