Designed during the Google Cloud x MLB™ Hackathon – Building with Gemini Models, Skyline offers explanations of game-changing plays, analysis of player matchups, and forecasts of win probabilities. Whether you're a casual fan or a baseball aficionado, Skyline enhances your understanding of the game and brings fans together over the nuances of America’s pastime.

Built using React Native for a seamless cross-platform experience, Skyline integrates Google Cloud services, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Firestore to deliver cutting-edge insights.


Installation Guide ⬇️

Skyline is available for download via the Google Play Store as a closed tester and through manual installation.

Through the Google Play Store 🎮

  1. Join the Closed Tester Program:

  2. Download the App:

    • Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
    • Search for Skyline or follow the direct link provided for testers.
    • Download and install the app as you would any other.
  3. Launch the App:

    • Open Skyline from your app drawer and start exploring! 🚀

Manual Installation 🔧

For Android Users

  1. Download the Release File:

    • Visit the GitHub Releases section of this repository.
    • Download the appropriate release file APK (preferably) or AAB for Android.
  2. Enable Unknown Sources:

    • Open the Settings app.
    • Navigate to Security > Install unknown apps.
    • Allow installation from your preferred source (e.g., File Manager or Browser).
  3. Install the AAB:

    • Use an AAB installer app (e.g., APKMirror Installer) to install the downloaded AAB package.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
  4. Launch the App:

    • Open Skyline from your app drawer and enjoy! 🚀

For iOS Users

  1. Download the Release File:

    • Visit the GitHub Releases section of this repository.
    • Download the appropriate release file (IPA for iOS).
  2. Prepare Your Device:

    • Ensure your iPhone or iPad is connected to your computer via USB.
    • Install AltStore on your device (visit AltStore for setup instructions).
  3. Install the IPA:

    • Open AltStore on your device.
    • Tap on My Apps > ‘+’ Icon.
    • Select the Skyline IPA file from your Downloads folder.
  4. Trust the Developer Certificate:

    • Navigate to Settings > General > Device Management.
    • Trust the developer certificate associated with the app.
  5. Launch the App:

    • Open Skyline from your home screen and dive into the action! 🌌
