GitHub Student Developer Pack application not continuing

Hi everyone,

I was trying to go through the Student Developer Pack application, but when I enter my school, and press Continue, the continue button grays out, and doesn't proceed in any way.
It does ask for my location, which I agree to, but it does not continue past this.I have added my school email to my account, and have done all the other prerequisites required, so I am confused why it gets stuck here.
I have tried waiting for over 2 hours for it to continue to the next step, but according to my friends, it should not take this long.

Edit: I have also tried 3 browsers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to allow the location access on your browser for example here in Chrome:

It already has access, which I have stated clearly.

my bad I didn't notice,
try to clear the cookies and cache for your browser and re-try the process ( if it doesn't work try it on another browser )

Sorry, I didn't state this but I've already tried this on 3 browsers. I have NOT tried a different machine though. I will do this when I have the possibility to, but this is only possible in a few hours minimum.

Go to your Windows settings and check the location permissions (the location option can appear by clicking on set default location option ) . Just having browser access isn’t enough
you’ll need to enable location access too.

I've done the equivalent on my Linux install but I'm still stuck on the same thing.

Hi @parmjotsinghrobot,

If you still have the same problem despite clearing the cache and using different browsers, submit your application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC, it usually solves this issue.

I've gone through the process on a new computer now that I have got the opportunity, and it appears to work now, so fingers crossed that it gets approved now. Thank you so much! It might have been an issue with my laptop and how it might not have been able to grab the location, which caused to get it stuck there.
