This website is built off of “scrollytelling” techniques that examine the relationships between population dynamics of the Eared Grebe and the American White Pelican at the Great Salt Lake with local and larger scale climatic influences.

Here, we apply programming techniques that simulate the relationship between bird abundance and El Nino and La Nina climate anomalies, as well as local climate influences at the Great Salt Lake.
